THE MEN'S INNER JOURNEY
An Adventure In Self Discovery
The Men's Inner Journey is a transformational experience designed for men who love men, by men who love men. Whether you identify as gay, bisexual, or indifferent and yearn for a deeper more intimate connection with other men, this journey is for you!
Based on twenty-five years of experience working with thousands of men from all walks of life, the MIJ has pulled together a wide range of transformational techniques that specifically address the spiritual needs of homosexual men.
We all share a profound desire for connection. Without it, we feel empty and alone. The MIJ offers a path back to wholeness by teaching participants what it means to be present. Once we discover what it means to be present we begin to experience:
Because many spiritual teachings offered today have been derived from the idea that humanity is based on a two-gender system, they can't offer the kind of individual attention to homosexual men the MIJ offers. The MIJ philosophy is based on the idea that homosexuality isn’t an identity - it’s another way of ‘being’. A simplified two-gender approach to understanding what it means to be homosexual divides our understanding of ourselves into “masculine” and “feminine” concepts. This can be confusing to homosexual men, because it doesn’t accurately identify what it is that makes us different from heterosexual people.
Our main focus at the MIJ is to help you rejuvenate your energetic charge by freeing it from the conditioning that has prevented you from being fully present in the world. With the tools you’ll acquire through the MIJ experience, you will never have to depend on an idea, a belief, or some form of positive affirmation to make you feel good about yourself ever again. You will know how to simply be - you!
The next Men's Inner Journey Retreat will be held:
The Men's Inner Journey is a three-and-a-half day residential retreat that begins Thursday evening at 7:30 PM and runs through to Sunday evening at 6 PM. We require a $325.00 nonrefundable deposit to register. The MIJ is not for everyone. The work is both demanding and nurturing. Participants get plenty of food, and time to sleep. This is not a boot camp, however we do request that become fully present with yourself and others.
